New Town High School PE Uniform Information

New Town High School Families,

The 2024-2025 school year will be here before we know it, and it is important we share the new guidance surrounding Physical Education uniforms. As the school year starts, students will use the Physical Education Locker Rooms; therefore, they will be responsible for locking their belongings in a Physical Education locker and ensuring they are appropriately dressed for Physical Education class. Appropriate dress consists of athletic wear and closed-toed tennis shoes.  This year, students are strongly encouraged to wear New Town High School Physical Education apparel purchased through our online store.  Students will have an option to purchase additional apparel from the online store; these items can be worn in Physical Education or used to show school pride. Students that do not dress appropriately for class will not participate in physical activity that day, which may negatively impact their course grade.

Please be advised that the items listed below are not appropriate for participation in Physical Education class:

  • Jeans
  • Jeggings
  • Khakis
  • Crocs
  • Slippers
  • Open-toed Shoes
  • Jewelry
