Attendance

Coming to school every day is the first step to success! Read the NTHS Attendance Policy for more information.

Transcripts

Current seniors may complete a New Town High School Transcript Request form to have your transcript sent to the college or university of your choice. Former students can request transcripts and duplicate diplomas on the BCPS website's Transcripts and Duplicate Diplomas page.

Cell Phones

Students, staff, and families are reminded of the importance of instructional time. Cell phone use is restricted during the instructional day in all BCPS high schools. Board of Education Policy and Superintendent’s Rule 5552 indicate that all personal devices are to be off and away during the school day. Exceptions include: Grades 3 to 5 – when permitted for instructional purposes during instructional time; Middle School – during student lunch as determined by school administration; High School – during student lunch periods. Please see the BCPS cell phone use and expectations plan, "Off and Away: Every School Every Day!" Information specific to cell phone use and consequences for violating cell phone rules at New Town High School can be found on the NTHS Cell Phone Policy.
